Xmas premie baby's miracle recovery

Premature baby Bonnie arrived many months too early and weighed 1lb 5oz - less than a festive tub of Quality Street.

The tiny tot miraculously recovered with no serious long term health issues and here, she’s seen a year on, celebrating with her thrilled parents and big brother.

Her mum Leah wanted to share Bonnie’s story because when she went into premature labour at 22 weeks, she couldn’t find any articles of women who’d been through the same with a positive outcome.

She wants other mums and dads of premies to have some positive stories and see babies like Bonnie who not only survive, but thrive. Read the full story here.
