Suicidal after birth

Birth injuries are alarmingly common in mums, but diagnosis and treatment painfully hard to come by.

Mum-of-one Natalie had to go to France before finally getting a diagnosis and management of the severe pinching pain in her pelvis and vulva, caused by a compressed pudendal nerve.

The pain - pudendal neuralgia - was dismissed by GPs and resulted in specialists laughing at poor Natalie instead of helping her.
